2024 Olympic Games: all disciplines!

The canoe-kayak sprint events take place on a pool of calm water, like the rowing events. The race is done in a line over eight lanes, the objective being to cross the line first. The events are contested over distances of 200m, 500m and 1000m. There are Olympic events for individual athletes (single canoe – C1 and single kayak – K1), pairs (double canoe – C2 and double kayak – K2) and fours (four-seater kayak – K4).
