2024 Olympic Games: all disciplines!

The first bicycles were built in the 1850s, particularly in France, in a form quite different from what we know today. It was not until the 1870s that cycling competitions on wooden tracks took off in England, with for example the first six-day race which took place in 1878 in London. The track quickly gained popularity, and was structured with the creation of the International Cycling Association. This organization allowed the first competition considered as a world championship to take place in Chicago in 1893.
