In fencing, two competitors face each other, a weapon in hand, and must touch their opponent with their weapon in a given area. Each weapon has its own specificities. The saber allows you to hit your opponent with all parts of the blade (tip, edge and back). The valid surface area includes the upper body from the waist down, including the arms and head. Epee and foil only allow points to be scored with the point, but on the entire body (including the mask and shoes) for epee, and only on the trunk (chest, shoulders and neck) for foil. The fencer who reaches fifteen points, or who has the most at the end of regulation time, wins the fight. By team, the first team to 45 points, or which has the most at the end of regulation time, wins.
