2024 Olympic Games: all disciplines!

Beach volleyball first appeared in Santa Monica, California, in the 1920s, then spread to Europe in the following years. It wasn't until the 1940s that the first tournaments were organised in Santa Monica, and in the 1960s an attempt was made to professionalise the sport by setting up a championship in the same town, but this failed, while a tournament was organised in France.
